Pina-silk is a fiber made from the leaves of the pineapple plant from the Philippines.
The fibres from the pineapple plant are then interwoven with silk threads to create a stunning sheer fabric which is delicate in appearance, however strong, stiff and extremely long-lasting.
These delicate threads must be gathered and loom-woven by hand, producing an exquisitely fine fabric.
